Upin World News Share The Knownledge - Upin & Ipin is a 2007 Malaysian television series of animated shorts made by Les' Copaque Development, which features the life and travels of the eponymous twin brothers in a imaginary Malaysian kampung. Originally a side project for the blockbuster animated film Geng: The Adventure Starts, Upin & Ipin was released on Television9 on 13 Sept 2007 as a six-episode Ramadan/Eid special, to instruct children the importance of the Islamic holy month. By 2014, the series has already reached its eighth season, including another Ramadan speci season in 2008, and, season three onwards, the year-long, more standard themed Upinipin and Friends, the series' international debut via the Disney Channel Asia, with an increase of concentrating on informing the lives of The Twins using their friends on the normal days.
