Upin amp; Ipin Official on Twitter: quot;Gold amp; Silver Play - Upin & Ipin is a 2007 Malaysian television group of animated shorts produced by Les' Copaque Development, which features the life and ventures of the eponymous twin brothers in a fictional Malaysian kampung. Actually a side task for the blockbuster cartoon film Geng: THE EXPERIENCE Begins, Upin & Ipin was unveiled on Television9 on 13 Sept 2007 as a six-episode Ramadan/Eid special, to teach children the importance of the Islamic holy month. As of 2014, the series has reached its eighth season, including another Ramadan speci season in 2008, and, season three onwards, the year-long, more standard themed Upinipin and Friends, the series' international debut via the Disney Channel Asia, with more concentrating on telling the lives with the Twins with their friends on the normal days.
