Upin amp; Ipin’s animation studio Les Copaque bags two awards - Upin & Ipin is a 2007 Malaysian tv group of animated shorts made by Les' Copaque Development, which features the life and ventures of the eponymous twin brothers in a imaginary Malaysian kampung. Formerly a side project for the blockbuster cartoon film Geng: THE EXPERIENCE Starts out, Upin & Ipin was presented on Television9 on 13 September 2007 as a six-episode Ramadan/Eid special, to instruct children the importance of the Islamic holy month. As of 2014, the series has reached its eighth season, including another Ramadan speci season in 2008, and, season three onwards, the year-long, more standard themed Upinipin and Friends, the series' international debut via the Disney Channel Asia, with more concentrating on telling the lives with the Twins with the friends on the normal days.
