Will the Upin amp; Ipin movie make RM20mil? Star2.com - Upin & Ipin is a 2007 Malaysian tv set series of animated shorts produced by Les' Copaque Development, which features the life and adventures of the eponymous twin brothers in a fictional Malaysian kampung. Formerly a side task for the blockbuster animated film Geng: THE EXPERIENCE Begins, Upin & Ipin was created on TV9 on 13 Sept 2007 as a six-episode Ramadan/Eid special, to teach children the importance of the Islamic holy month. By 2014, the series has already reached its eighth season, including another Ramadan speci season in 2008, and, season three onwards, the year-long, more standard themed Upinipin and Friends, the series' international debut via the Disney Route Asia, with more concentrating on sharing with the lives with the Twins with the friends on the normal days.
