MCMC to investigate obscene ‘Upin amp; Ipin’ pictures - Upin & Ipin is a 2007 Malaysian television group of animated shorts produced by Les' Copaque Production, which features the life and escapades of the eponymous twin brothers in a fictional Malaysian kampung. Originally a side task for the blockbuster cartoon film Geng: THE EXPERIENCE Takes place, Upin & Ipin was unveiled on Television9 on 13 Sept 2007 as a six-episode Ramadan/Eid special, to instruct children the importance of the Islamic holy month. As of 2014, the series has already reached its eighth season, including another Ramadan speci season in 2008, and, season three onwards, the year-long, more general themed Upinipin and Friends, the series' international debut via the Disney Route Asia, with more concentrating on sharing with the lives from the Twins using their friends on the normal days.
