Originally a side task for the blockbuster animated film Geng: THE EXPERIENCE Gets started, Upin & Ipin was unveiled on Tv set9 on 13 September 2007 as a six-episode Ramadan/Eid special, to instruct children the importance of the Islamic holy month.
