Upin amp; Ipin are now Unicef Malaysia39;s ambassadors for - Upin & Ipin is a 2007 Malaysian television group of animated shorts made by Les' Copaque Development, which features the life span and adventures of the eponymous twin brothers in a imaginary Malaysian kampung. Originally a side job for the blockbuster cartoon film Geng: THE EXPERIENCE Gets started, Upin & Ipin was presented on Television9 on 13 Sept 2007 as a six-episode Ramadan/Eid special, to instruct children the importance of the Islamic holy month. By 2014, the series has reached its eighth season, including another Ramadan speci season in 2008, and, season three onwards, the year-long, more basic themed Upinipin and Friends, the series' international debut via the Disney Route Asia, with an increase of concentrating on showing the lives from the Twins with their friends on the standard days.
