upinipin – Ribu News - Upin & Ipin is a 2007 Malaysian tv series of animated shorts produced by Les' Copaque Creation, which features the life and activities of the eponymous twin brothers in a fictional Malaysian kampung. Actually a side task for the blockbuster cartoon film Geng: The Adventure Starts off, Upin & Ipin was presented on Tv set9 on 13 Sept 2007 as a six-episode Ramadan/Eid special, to instruct children the importance of the Islamic holy month. As of 2014, the series has already reached its eighth season, including another Ramadan speci season in 2008, and, season three onwards, the year-long, more basic themed Upinipin and Friends, the series' international debut via the Disney Route Asia, with an increase of concentrating on showing the lives from the Twins using their friends on the standard days.
