Upin amp; Ipin’s animation studio Les Copaque bags two awards - Upin & Ipin is a 2007 Malaysian tv series of animated shorts produced by Les' Copaque Creation, which features the life and travels of the eponymous twin brothers in a imaginary Malaysian kampung. Actually a side task for the blockbuster cartoon film Geng: THE EXPERIENCE Takes place, Upin & Ipin was unveiled on Television set9 on 13 September 2007 as a six-episode Ramadan/Eid special, to teach children the importance of the Islamic holy month. By 2014, the series has already reached its eighth season, including another Ramadan speci season in 2008, and, season three onwards, the year-long, more standard themed Upinipin and Friends, the series' international debut via the Disney Channel Asia, with an increase of concentrating on sharing with the lives of The Twins using their friends on the normal days.
