Upin amp; Ipin’s animation studio Les Copaque bags two awards - Upin & Ipin is a 2007 Malaysian television set group of animated shorts produced by Les' Copaque Creation, which features the life and ventures of the eponymous twin brothers in a fictional Malaysian kampung. Actually a side job for the blockbuster cartoon film Geng: The Adventure Takes place, Upin & Ipin was presented on TV9 on 13 Sept 2007 as a six-episode Ramadan/Eid special, to instruct children the importance of the Islamic holy month. As of 2014, the series has reached its eighth season, including another Ramadan speci season in 2008, and, season three onwards, the year-long, more general themed Upinipin and Friends, the series' international debut via the Disney Route Asia, with an increase of concentrating on revealing to the lives of this Twins using their friends on the normal days.
